Afternoon of 9/14/2015 – morning of 9/16

The evening after the nuptials, the newly-affirmed Graves family along with several other attendees will be travelling the ~3 hours to the Nürburgring.   Racetrack aside, the area in and around Nürburg and Adenau is quite picturesque and fairly low-key.

The plan, as it stands, involves arriving late afternoon/early evening on Monday and staying the entire day on Tuesday before moving on Wednesday morning.

As of last update there should be tourist driving opportunities on the old track (Nordschleife) both Monday and Tuesday evening.  Please reference this article (written by Richard) if you have an inclination to partake.

If you would rather ride than drive, but still get the full experience, you may be able to book a ride in the Ring Taxi (bring Dramamine).

If you don’t get all of this fuss, but still want to tag along, there is a castle ruin with optional audio tour, as well as miles of hiking trails around the racetrack, or ample patio space at the local restaurants.
